Revenge of the Swamp People !

Recently I have been asked why I blog so infrequently. My response was that I have become fed up with Washington D.C. and more specifically with Congress. Once the Establishment elites in both parties realized that Donald Trump was actually our President and that his agenda was something the people of our country were in favor of, they in collaboration with the liberal media and the Trump haters, decided the best way to derail his agenda would be to tie up the administration in a stream of never- ending investigations beginning with his campaign colluding with Russia to win the 2016 election.

Although after more than 16 months of intense scrutiny by four Congressional oversite committees, recusal of the Attorney General from participation in the inquiries, and appointment of a Special Counsel what have we learned? There is to this date some 16 months later and after the expense of untold million dollars no evidence that collusion existed between Trump’s campaign and Russia to affect the outcome of the election.

On the other hand we have evidence that the “Never Trumper’s” were busy during the campaign initiating the construction of a salacious document meant to tarnish the reputation of Trump and connect him to Russian interference with the upcoming election. The document was in fact sponsored and paid for by the DNC and the Clinton campaign under the guise of opposition research. This document later became the basis upon which a fisa warrant was obtained to wire tap the Trump Tower Campaign Headquarters.

The liberal media neglects to state the fact that this all occurred under the watch of the Obama FBI and Justice Departments prior to the November 16, 2016 election. So whose finger was on the scale of “Justice for All”?

Then there are the never-ending oversight congressional investigations which have uncovered numerous situations that warrant a criminal referral to the Justice Department but seem to be swept under the table by Democrats sitting on these various committees. It seems that lying under oath, disclosing classified materials and obstruction of justice are punishable only for the average lowly citizen like you and me. If you happen to be a member of congress, head of some government department such as the IRS, FBI or Justice Department you are blanketed by some unwritten law that makes you immune from prosecution and rewarded by receiving retirement benefits the rest of your life due to your “outstanding” record of corruption while in office.

Is it any wonder that men such as Representatives Trey Gowdy and Jason Chaffetz have elected to leave Congress and return to some form of their profession where they may make a difference. The only hope I see for justice may rest with the Inspector General’s report on the highest levels of the Justice Department. However his authority is limited to those still serving and does not extend to individuals that have left the service or are in other government agencies. In the meantime all the swamp dwellers are running for cover and attempting to bury their tracks.

The Mueller investigation has descended into the usual witch hunt to prove those innocent of the original charges guilty of something or anything to justify the existence of a Special Counsel. It’s time for Rod Rosenstein, Deputy Attorney General, to call an end to the investigation and fire Mueller. This is unlikely as long as there are those in both parties calling for a second special counsel to investigate the FBI and Justice Department officials who gave her magisty Hillary Clinton a pass for her crimes when holding the Office of Secretary of State.

Thanks to the “Revenge of the Swamp People” “We the People” can look forward to at least three more years of “searching for the guilty among the innocent”. Washington D.C. has become the worlds biggest cesspool of corruption and politicians seeking retribution against their enemies, all while claiming to be protectors of our Constitution. I don’t know where these people studied civics but they must have read a different book than I did. I guess there are just too many lawyers in Washington to understand how a businessman like Donald Trump operates. Most successful businessmen I have worked for in the past never minced words when confronting a problem. They were blunt in naming an objective and did not tolerate disloyalty from those around them. They were strong leaders and took responsibility for their actions. Too bad for the country that the Washington establishment fails to recognize a true leader when they see one.
